The Hackteufel is a lovely, small and traditional family run hotel ideally situated in the very heart of the old town with all major attractions within easy walking distance (including the castle). The hotel has been recently renovated and offers 20 high standard rooms of varying size and character.

The Hackteufel boasts its own, very well respected restaurant serving traditional German cuisine (you can sit outside during the summer months and watch the world go by....).

All room rates are without breakfast, but we offer a rich breakfast buffet for 11.- Euro per person.

Single rooms, double rooms and double rooms for single use (for guests staying longer) are offered. Every room has its own special character and piece of history. Every room has a bathroom or shower, WC, hair dryer, cable TV and telephone, the larger rooms have refrigerator and the 2 top rooms are air conditioned. WiFi is free of charge and available in the rooms and the restaurant.

The room rates are as follows:

Single room - from Euro 69,00 (small) or Euro 129,00 (large)
Double Room - from Euro 99,00 (small) or 149,00 (large)

The Hackteufel will respond directly to you, giving details on room availability and what the exact room rate is for the days you have requested. Further correspondence regarding your hotel accommodation should be directed to the Hackteufel. The hotel will do its best to respond to you within 24 hours with an email detailing room availability and room rate. Please respond to the hotel's email within 48 hours to confirm your reservation. If you do not respond within 48 hours, then the Hackteufel will assume that you do not want to confirm your reservation with them.
